I Fell For The Food

Specially considering I get to do two of the my most favorite things in life - working from by bed and traveling. Though they are the most contradicting opposites, it is basically to conclude how weird I can be. </div> </div> <div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> </div> <div> <div style="text-align: center;"> Ok, enough of the ramble and getting to the point of this blog post, which is basically to reflect my recent visit to Vietnam. I was in Vietnam for a couple of days following a project I have been engaged in since 2014. Like most of the Asian Cuisine Vietnamese have there version of noodle soup called the PHO. This dish has some of the flavors that I like the most when eating, that charcoal smoked pork, the soft soothing vermicelli noodles, the fresh crunchy spring onion, the sweet, sour and spicy sauce and greens, specially fresh coriander. I tried the fried ones too, unfortunately they were devoured before I could get time for a picture. Whether fresh or fried Vietnamese know their spring roll and they were bomb. And rather than shopping I was business eye-balling all the food there. Home Coming

And visiting Mustang was something that I probably took for granted, like many other things in life. So recently I was to attend an engagement of a dear friend and the only perk was that it was in Pokhara. Late night and a serene morning is how Pokhara is to be enjoyed. The best part of traveling away from Kathmandu is, the clarity. The sharpness in the scenery changes as soon as we exit the capital city. But the picture does no justice to how beautiful the sky looked at dusk. Bostonian Summer

I was hoping for sunshine and tans while all I initially got was cold and wind, eventually the weather did get better.</span></div> <br /> <div style="text-align: center;"> Regardless of the weather we did manage to have a very eventful family time after what seems to be ages. It is very unlikely to find pure organic food in the city, but the villages have a different story all together. This time while going around the village I encountered a very weird looking insect. It was my first time seeing this particular insect and I wouldn't even notice it if someone else hadn't point it out to me.
